Ugh!! I have such a bad headache and I am so tired!! I took something and it still has not helped. Apparently, this is commmon when doing the Induction Phase{the first two weeks} of Atkins. Last night I had the most awful dream and then woke with this headache. I am curious if that was just a coincidence or if my body is revolting. LOL. How do people stick with this plan? I feel awful!

Try some full sodium chicken broth. If it's the Atkins flu, it's due to the depletion of sodium levels in the body and this will help raise it.

I agree with kmartin, drinks a cup of broth in the morning and a cup in the evening. Also if you exercise drink one of those cups 30 minutes before you exercise. It works wonders trust me!

I only suffered a slight headache, but it was the lethargy and body aches that bugged me during second week of Induction. Just know that if you stick to it, your body will adjust, and the aches will pass. Be sure to keep your fiber up and drink water, too; another potential symptom is constipation. I avoided it by taking those precautions. My mother lost 40+ lbs on Atkins this past year, and she also warned me to take my multi-vitamin and fish oil, too. So, I figure I'll pass along those tips from someone who's been on Atkins successfully for more than a year. All in all...remember "this too shall pass". And when the weight comes off, you'll know it's worth it. Best wishes! :)
