hang in there, it takes a little time for your body to get used to eating right, as long as you continue to eat right and exercise, you will lose the weight.

You have to eat. Teach your body (metabolism) what to do. Skip all junk and most processed food stick with fresh produce (like fruits and mostly vegetables) and whole wheat bread products. Plan your special treats and 'budget' for them in your food planning. Go to <www.choosemyplate.gov> and confirm where you should be for daily protein, carbs, sodium and fat (yes, fat) at your age. It takes a couple of weeks to retrain the tongue (taste preferences) and the body, but it CAN be done without doing damage to yourself. Don't think diet, think: This is the way I live.

Also the shorter path you have to go, the longer weight loss can take. It burns more calories for me to move my nearly 300lb body than for you to move yours. Agree with lacrosse_is_fun, keep on the right food path and 30-min daily exercise. It will happen.
