I've lost 9 pounds since the beginning of the year!!!! After a slow start, that's an average of 3 pounds per month. I LOVE that!
I didn't realize that I skipped a whole week of weigh-in. Remember I'm not journaling as frequently because I have a
training blog to keep up with. Remember to come for a visit to see how the half marathon training is coming along. Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America could really use your
donations.
So could I. I'm 25% of the way to my $3900 goal and we're one-third of the way through training.
Last week was TOM and there was literally a two pound gain. I was hovering up around 196-point-something. I was have issues with my blood sugar, my energy, and my mood. I kept up with my half marathon trainings, but my workouts felt like they were suffering.
I was able to stabilize my blood sugar rather quickly, but my energy was up and down, and not feeling normal really affected my mood. It took a week, and I'm back to regular and perky ME :-D!
So last night, after a dinner of garlic and rosemary roasted brussel sprouts with balsalmic glaze (my second attempt) and baked sweet potato I hopped on the scale, just praying that I had come down a little...at least to 195. So wasn't it a pleasant surprise to see
193.8 Whaaaaaaaaaat?!
Then this morning, I was just hoping for, you know, 193.6 or 193.4 or something. I had to take a double take at
192.2!
