I have been doing horribly. I have not been able to "exercise" because I have had to take every possible moment and sleep because I am so tired. Just standing at my job and doing the little walking it requires has me taking breaks to sit down. I will be 33 weeks on Monday. This a.m., I weighed 166.something and I feel like I am doing awful on weight gain. I keep telling myself that I will be able to lose this after I deliver my baby, but it has me worried. I weighed 128 pre-pregnancy. So I have gained 38 pounds so far and I still have about 7 weeks. I feel huge, but I don't really look THAT big. I feel like I have gained unnecessary weight, but some days I am just SOOOO hungry and I feel starved. I am hoping to start doing some light arm weights, but at times, that hurts my back as well.
I have also not been entering my food in here as much because my boss has us so busy that some days I can't. Only 7 more weeks. Maybe it will all fall off after delivery while I am nursing. That's what they say, but I definitely miss my 123 weight from before and my goal is to get back there after delivery even though I know it will take some time. I am not unrealistic, but I just want to feel normal again and not like a failure for out-of-control eating.

Maybe you can do some prep cooking on Sunday to help with what you are eating through the week. I am sorry you have been so busy and tired. :( It won't be much longer now! What does your doctor say about everything?

I think you will be ok. You are concerned and will work on it after baby is born. That is the key. Your picture is adorable!

Between the placenta, extra blood volume, the baby, additional breast fluid/material, other fluid retention, you could drop (hopefully not literally....LOL) 15 or more pounds just after delivery, plus you will feel so much better that it will be easier to exercise and move around, so don't fret now. Your baby needs a stress-free mama, and your 38 pound weight gain isn't horrible at this point. Throughout pregnancies, weight fluctuates a lot because of fluid, so try to enjoy your miracle and continue to eat healthfully. I'm so excited for you....babies are one of God's most wonderful blessings!

Dont stress on the little things in life. We understand that you are concerned with your health and fitness. However that baby is the most important thing at this point. So what if you put on a little extra weight. As long as that baby is healthy. When time comes, after you deliver, you can focus more on the "little things" in life. Be happy and enjoy your pregnancy! BTW its not everyday you can blame a meal on someone else. :-)

I get it. I gained 60 pounds both times I was pregnant. :-( With my first - I was always SO VERY TIRED. I would have to sit down in the middle of my shower because I was so tired I couldn't stand up to finish bathing without resting a bit first! I would sit out in my car on my lunch break and sleep the whole hour. The minute I would get home from work - I would head straight to the bed and sleep until my husband got home - not even having the energy to take my shoes off before I layed down! So I feel your pain! I have been there. But just the fact that you are acknowleding the issue and already making plans to fix the weight issue after the birth - that means you are already one step ahead. You are going to do great! And taking care of a newborn and chasing a toddler later on are going to be adding allot of extra exercise into your day! Happy for you!!
