The Love of Fit's Journal, 15 March 2014

So last night I had a binge - which had me looking at the other journal entries I log on 'My Fitness Pal'. I think I may be on the path to having a BED. So in light, I'm going to start logging everything I've had to eat right before bed on this journal. I think having everyone reading it may help hold myself accountable and give some insight as to what my diet looks like.

So today (although it's not over and I know I have potential to stray again tonight):
8:30 - BodyCombat and 3 mile run
11 - Waffle, lite syrup, banana and 5 strawberries
12 - Grapefruit
1 - banana and 5 strawberries
(I'll be at work for the rest of the night and have planned this:)
4 - peanut butter and banana sandwich and an applesauce cup (no sugar added)
6:30 - mango
9 - cup of honey nut chex

This adds to 1,337 calories.

If you feel like straying tonight as you put it tell yourself that you'll feel better in the morning if you don't than you'll feel now if you do. If you let yourself get too hungry through out the day I find it makes it a lot harder to stay on track towards the evening! Good luck,stay strong you can do it!

Thanks njashka8, I just started eating more during the day. I found I was almost 'saving' calories, 'just-in-case' which then turned into, well I have a whole bunch leftover. So I'm hoping that eating so much more during the day and even going to bed instead of eating. Thanks! I hope all is well with you - I know you're trying to skip the food diary. Stay strong!

I do the saving calories thing too but what I have found works best for me is a low cal. breakfast,more at lunch(like chicken,avocado and a bit of brie cheese are filling for me) and then a lower cal. dinner and some warm milk with a bit of milo to curb any hunger or sweets cravings! My weekend is a bit of a fail food wise but hope to be back on track tomorrow! As for binging I try to stay away from foods that I tend to over eat on I'm very much all or nothing at the moment unfortunately I find it very hard to have just 1 biscuit I tend to then go and have 6 more! Plus chocolate!Sorry for going on just wanted you to know you are not alone!

No, thank you for sharing! It helps knowing I'm not the only one. And I'm definitely an all or nothing type as well - I just have to regroup after being sent home with lots of goodies that I definitely should not have brought back. I'll try a larger lunch - that's by far my smallest meal. Thanks

Good luck with the goodies I bought ice cream and tim tams yesterday which was really stupid because I've nearly eaten the whole lot! I'm weighing in next friday I'm too scared to do so before that and going to redeem myself by then(fingers crossed) if you feel like joining me.

I think I was 136.8 after my bad NY weekend so I would be really happy if I could get to 135 by this Friday (to at least get rid of the water weight) and by the 28th, I'd like to be back at where I was before I left 133ish area. This will be great!
