I get so frustrated with my scale as well. I have started walking with my boyfriend every day. Something he did already. The scale is holding steady at my current weight after a loss of 9 lbs(when I started walking). I hope that me getting more tone is why the scale is holding steady. I also struggle with alcohol. I like having a drink in the evenings(sometimes 2) **wink**. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Check in every once in a while i you feel the urge. I has been nice meeting you. (sort of) Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

I figure what I'm going to do is weigh myself weekly when I go to the gym to swim. I tried weighing myself again on my scale not too long ago and now its saying 5 more lbs then the doctors office. LOL.. So I just figured out my workout for the weeks since I have also joined one of the challenges on here. I'm going to go swim Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday's and then Sunday do 15 minutes on the treadmill twice in the day. I'll just have to weigh in on Saturday's. They have a log there on file for me when I joined them and they also measure you if you want that done as well. Which since I'm doing the surgery this will help me keep track of my weight as well and make sure I hit that goal for that. Which I believe I have to be at the goal weight they set me at which is 309 by June 5th. I know I can do it as long as I stick to the healthy eating and adding the exercise in. I would like to add you to my buddies list if that's ok. Thank you for writing and also it was nice to meet you as well. :)

As I sat down at my computer I was just contemplating having a drink. I am going to skip it and see if the scale is more kind! Hahahahahaha **WINK**

Trust me the scale will be kind if you skip that wine. Try to go for a week without and see what happens. You can do it I know you can. I've gone 2 months so far without any kind of alcohol. Before when I weighed 530 I went without a drink for a year. I honestly think that's how I lost most of my weight.

I went without alcohol the first few weeks and that does seem to be when I lost the most weight. Of course - hahahahaha!! Thank you for the vote of confidence, it means a lot to me. We've got this. I know we do!! We are women hear us roar!! Yay Us!!!!!

Rock on Kim! We do have this and with support from one another it will help. Hey back in the day if I was even thinking of getting fast food or have a drink I'd call someone to talk me out of it and get my mind on other things. My boyfriend has whiskey and coke all the time it would be so easy of me to sneak a drink while he's at work but I have over come that and know that if I do I'd feel completely horrible and then he'd know because my attitude is completely different from my guilt. I'm always here if you need support. Remember wine or any kind of alcohol are EMPTY CALORIES! That's where the weight comes from. :)
