new beginnings2014 's Journal, 07 March 2014

I'm going grocery shopping today and get things even healthier than I've been eating. When I went to the support group for meal planning the speaker gave us a website that she has for eating healthy. Also some other sites. I've picked out some meals to add to my own to last me 2 weeks. My boyfriend has told me he's going to try some of the meals I make to see if he'll like them so I don't have to cook 2 separate meals. Since Feb 7th I've lost 17 lbs and since I've started eating healthy pretty much close to what I need to eat after the surgery. I've lost 10 lbs alone just eating healthier (which was a week an a half). After today from what I got from the meal planning meeting and some ideas I got from the binder (they gave me at my 1st appointment with the surgeon) for protein shakes and other certain things I will need to do. I will be able to lose that 35 lbs I need off before the surgery. I have lost 40 lbs in the past just eating other things and working out in 2 months. With the meals now and working out I may be able to lose more.
I'm very excited about this. Granted the cost of some stuff is a little over my budget but my boyfriend is supporting this and told me to get what I need. I'm very lucky and happy that I have a very supportive boyfriend and who is willing to work overtime to make this all happen.
