windrider's Journal, 20 January 2011

Almost done with my first week of NutriSystem. I am getting more used to eating several times a day. I have been limiting my food to more healthy snacks, ie yogurt, string cheese, veggies and fruits. I am not as hungry as I first was, but still get the late night hunger pangs. Drinking water then has helped. I just got my frozen food order last night and will try some this weekend since bringing frozen to work is hard. I am keeping a list of what I like and don't like so I can change my order in a month or two. Anyone else think the NS dryed food is well, a little dry? Some items like the chocolate bars and cookies are flavorful, almost to much so. The muffins require water with them or they are tough to swallow. Maybe that is on purpose to make me drink water, eat slower, and get me to stop being a fast eater.
Not sure what the psychology behind it is, but it will take a bit to get used to. Otherwise, I am pleasantly surprised in the food so far.
