Lots to update...
Was at the beach for the long weekend so I vacation ate. :)
Returned Monday only to be sick Tuesday. Last night was a bust.
At a doctor visit Monday, we discussed my attempt at losing weight. He suggested dropping to 1400 calories a day, increasing my gym visits to 4x a week instead of 3 and making sure I'm fluctuating my speed on the treadmill for maximum fat burning.
Made a homecooked meal tonight (1st of the week), hummus and carrot appetizer, spring mix salad, turkey kielbasa, steamed asparagus and corn on the cob. Tomorrow night will be homecooked meal #2, same veggies different entree. Morning Star makes an excellent black bean burger.
And finally, I think I found a solution to the problem I mentioned in my last post, ye ol' sweet tooth. Typically when I crave something it's Reeces Peanut Butter Cups so I bought 4 types of peanut butter and chocolate energy/meal replacement bars. I tried the Atkins one today and the chocolate was bitter. I'll fill you in on the others as I try them. My money is on the Luna or Cliff bar. Anybody tried these?
