The calorie counter no longer scares me. I eat as much as I need, until I'm satisfied and full, and still managed to shed the kilos. Yes, it takes dedication and a change in mindset to make the shift, it took a couple of months to settle in, but eating clean is the best thing I've ever done for myself.
I've replaced white carbs with whole grains like brown rice, millet, quinoa and whole oats. It's amazing how versatile they are and what you can do with them. I've learnt to make my own chocolate, my own mayonnaise and most of all I've learnt that LOW FAT is not the way to go. The processes low fat foods go through kills the nutrients and at the end of the day we just fill ourselves with empty calories.
I'm about 15kg down and feel great, strong and sexy again. It's been a worthwhile journey and it started here:

Since then many things have changed in my life, esp my outlook on food. It's making a huge difference and I'm loving it!
