"God loves you so much that He doesn't want you to stay in a place of defeat." (from Craving God, a 21 day devotional) If I am a woman of God, why do I let myself get so defeated when it comes to food? If I am "more than a conqueror", how does the pantry conquer ME time and again? I've come to see that this is as much a spiritual battle as a physical one. I've been focused on getting skinny, not getting healthy. I need to shift my focus to God, on WHY I'm doing this, and not just on the selfish end result.
