Well, so much for not stress-eating! Got a text at 10pm last night from the night caregiver that my mother had played with the thermostat to the point that cold air was coming out and the date/time read-out said AM. She had wanted to mess with the water heater but the woman had been able to talk her out of it. Was able to text instructions to solve the thermostat problem and then went straight to the antipasto deli salad in the refrigerator. I knew I shouldn't but I did it anyway. Put "get locking thermostat cover" on my To-Do list (this is the 2nd time I've had to deal with this in the last 2 weeks) and need to figure out how to secure the double doors to the heater/water heater closet. I've decided that the next time (because there always is!) I want to reach for food because I'm stressing at night, I'm going to fill my water bottle, sit on the couch and keep drinking until I feel back in control. If it's daytime, I'll take my water bottle for a walk.
