Thoughts on approaching 15 lbs down for this month.

This was tough work and sometimes felt overwhelming. It was totally worth it. I feel good and the mirror is looking great.

I have a nice head start on next month, which I'm going for 10 lbs a month. Workouts are only going to get tougher on T25 and my running times are going to be longer. I may stay at Alpha and keep my running up.

What am I doing?

WORKOUTS - T25 Alpha, so far. Starting the second week of the year, I started C2 10K. I was doing a Crunch and Plank challenge but stopped when I got to a 2 minute plank. I did throw some weight work in there as well, but it seemed to be overkill. I will probably do some every now and then

EATING AND DRINKING - I've kept it simple and small portions. I've eaten my pizza, burgers, and ice cream sundaes, but in moderation. Big difference was the snacks between. I owe that to the Nutribullet. It has been awesome to make mid-morning and mid-afternoon "blasts" (smoothies). I've incorporated a breakfast smoothie (banana, blueberries, oats, spinach) and eating a hard boiled egg for my morning snack. I'm quite satisfied. No alcohol during this stretch. Plenty of water and of course, loose leaf tea (mint green, oolong chai, pu-erh, and English breakfast).

What's next?

Eating should stay the same. I'm prepping for a half marathon in September. I will be doing at least one 5k and 10k before then.
