For the past 2 days I've had flu-like symptoms, so I haven't been logging on my calories or exercise. Didn't have the energy or desire to. Strangely enough, even though I can't eat much lately, I was craving Coca-Cola...and I don't even like soda! It seemed like the only thing soothing to my stomach. On any given day, I only drink water with lime or lemon juice, or green tea. Sometimes Almond/Coconut milk, but mainly on my oatmeal. I feel like anything else has too much sugar in it. Even something like peach or raspberry iced tea can't be trusted (yum, though!). Argh---that Coca-Cola had 70 grams of sugar! Good thing I don't drink that on a regular basis.
I believe I weighed 138 lbs this morning, but that is just the illness.

When fighting the flu, don't cut on calories! :) Your body needs all the energy it can get to fight it! Your body is probably after high energy from the sugar in the coke. :) I don't know if you should provide your body with that kind of energy though since it will spike your insulin (I don't know if this is good or bad when you're fighting the flu) :P

Try to keep yourself rested and warm but always checking for fevers. In case of a fever getting too high, use any means necessary to keep your head cool (wet towels around your head etc). Also drinks lots of water. When you're on that stage where all the mucus starts getting uncomfortable, onions make for great natural anti-histamines :) Oh and yeah, don't exercise!

Ooohh!! lol You have to switch now! lol You're still in time! :) Never exercise or cut calories when ill ;) You'll only get worse! Ok that's great! :)
