I just came back from a Cabo Cruise, and I do not want to look at the scale. I'm pretty sure I gained a couple pounds those 5 days at sea from the booze and food. I'm pretty sure I gained a pound each day I was there. I think I drank a whole bottle on wine the first day. LOL. And then we got a free hour of alcohol at our group cocktail party. I think I had about 5 frozen drinks and a Jack and Coke. The booze hit me pretty hard since I had really cut back on drinking these last few months. And then there was the food--lobster, duck, steak, ribs, mexican food, sushi, and a 24 hr pizza bar. Vacationing and dieting dont mix. It's too hard to do. Oh well, it was definitely worth it. I had so much fun on that boat with friends and family. It was a little diet break.
<p> I'll start back again tomorrow. plus, my agency is recruiting this month, which means I will be walking around areas near school my school (like womens' clinics, wic offices, shelters, etc) to speak with parents who might be in need of our services. So I guess I'm going to get paid to exercise three times a week.
