Although yesterday's calorie count was pretty high, I was actually really proud of myself. Let me explain: After work, my boyfriend and I went out for happy hour at a nearby Mexican restaurant. I had one frozen margarita and some nachos and cheese and salsa. Yes, it was high calories, BUT I only had 1 margarita (I can usually down 2-3 of those babies!), and when I got home, I recognized that I was full and did not need to eat dinner after that. In the past, if I have gone out to a happy hour, I drink and eat appetizers and then go home and eat a full dinner on top of that. I'm starting to listen to my body - when I'm hungry and when I'm full - and it is a good feeling.
