Has anyone (I mean women) ever had that experience before? I seemed to have hit a roadblock, I am not sure if it's because I am expecting my friend to visit anytime soon or what? My weight has plataeu literally I've gained back two pounds and I am having a bout of insomnia lately, I can fall asleep very easily but by 1-2 am I am up tossing about. So for the past week I've been functioning on less that four hours of sleep a day. It is not a good thing if you work in pediatrics practice where there's tons of screaming children aroung all day. I am not sure if it's related to the low carb or what, very curious though. Do I need to increase my carb intake or should I have my carb at night, may it will help me to stay asleep. I don't know my tolerance level is getting very low, something has got to give soon.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

its not uncommon to gain up to 2lbs waterweight around or during period or ovulation. Are you going to bed feeling hungry? if so that could cause you to wake up feeling restless or agitated?the lack of sleep can then again stall the weightloss!i don`t know much about the low carb thing though sorry but any major diet changes can cause different reactions until the body gets used to it

Your foods look great in your diet calendar. You’re hitting all of your macros. Basically it looks like you’re doing everything right. Since you’re stalling it may be a good time to make sure the food you’re entering into your diet calendar is completely accurate. Compare what fat secret says to the nutritional information on your food's label. Also, if you don’t have a food scale, you may be accidently consuming more than what your entering into fatsecret. If you find that your food journal is accurate then other things to take into consideration would be your stress levels, water intake (shoot for 100oz a day) and your sleep, which you said hasn’t been good lately. I just started throwing in some fasting to get myself back on track. I have been hovering around the same weight for 3 weeks now and finally saw a small loss this week. Just don’t give up and keep going!

Thanks Bigbassbrent, I do have a scale which I do not use consistently, I will be more careful with my measurements. I think overall the problem is the sleep. It is very frustrating to be tired but can't fall asleep. I tried to go to bed at the same time except for Thursday which I don't get out of class until 10:30 PM, I do try to do some type of excersise, but when you wake up feeling exhausted exercise is the last thing I want to do. I am not craving any sugar (thank God) somedays I have to remind myself to eat, which in itself is very good for me. I read many thread that it may take a while to see any changes, it's frustrated but not a deal breaker. So I am going to keep pushing forward hopefully soon, something will give.
