I'm frustrated today. Went to the doctor because I haven't been able to find any medicine that helps with my fibromyalgia pain. It is discouraging to be in pain every minute of every day and not be able to do a thing about it. He put me on two new medications and gave me a cortisone shot in my shoulder. I'm hoping I will feel a bit better tomorrow b/c it is really stiff right now. I even had to stop doing some of my exercises... but I'm still stretching daily and doing my sit ups faithfully!!!

I treated myself to some junk food today b/c I was frustrated by the pain, but my daughter shared it with me so I didn't eat full portions. The one good thing was, when I got weighed there, I had lost another two pounds!!! Guess sometimes you have to take the bad with the good and keep going.

it's none of my business and I have only my own experience behind what I am going to ask; have you had a thorough work up to determine your vitamin levels-especially Vit D? We talk a lot around here about how vitamin deficiencies can mimic symptoms of diseases. I do hope you feel better soon.

Thank you for your concern. I have no problem sharing my story if anyone has any suggestions... I asked my doctor today if he thought other things might be wrong... slipped disc (I danced and spun flag for many years) and asked him if he thought he should test me for other things, but he's convinced this is what's wrong with me and we just have to find the right medicine. Ya know, alot of doctors don't like to be told they are wrong or be questioned. If things don't get better soon, I will be shopping for a new doctor that will do something for me!

A second opinion never hurt anyone and shame on him...he should take your concerns seriously and run other tests just to be sure.

Yep, I'd try a second opinion on the matter for sure. BTW, your chart looks great. Keep it up!
