The last two weeks have been extremely difficult for me.With Christmas & most activities revolve around food,buffets at our clubhouse.I try to take only one tiny (about 1 (one) tablespoon of the most appealing looking dishes.If its all fattening,I usually have a brunch,and dinner,and save 1 meals worth of calories.I also try to drink a full bottle of water before going to the Club. I think feeling full (even it it is only water makes me feel full before going to the "KILLER" buffet. I have not eaten bread at all,but do eat one skinny bun,or one "thin-sliced " bagel,toasted with 1 tbsp peanut butter and 1 tbsp strawberry jam.I find this very filling and I feel like I'm not dieting really.
