Nope, no reason to judge if it helps them.

I know I'm terrible but sometimes it sounds ludicrous. Like, someone posted their dinner on Facebook, and they said 'Syn free'. I swear there was chips on there and I'm thinking, girl, I can't eat a baby potatoes without it affecting my calorie count.

I find if I do baked potato or chips in oven (low fat iceland ones 200g) comes of me better than boiling potatoes, I think it's they soak up water when Boiled and it just sticks with me longer.

A friend of mine just did a 9 day detox thing (cost her nearly £100!) She lost 7lbs but has put 5 back on already!Sounds crazy to me but she does it every 6 months or so. Each to their own eh?

I've tried slimming world and felt like it didnt work I over ate and never lost much and felt restricted as I eat out alot. I know loads it's worked for think each to their own but calorie counting is better for me

Yes! I always feel like it’s a business first and foremost and works short term so people go back to it time and again. Obviously it does have merits and works for some people but I always think people are paying for something that seems more complicated than common sense 😬🤷‍♀️

I tried Jane’s plan. A week was enough the food wasn’t pleasant and I was hungry. I prefer lots of healthy fresh food. Oh and I gained weight.

I don’t believe in any of them diets I eat healthy and about every 3 months I intend to eat ice cream or something and I do then I lose it straight away

I tried slimming world but failed as they said I could eat as much pasta as I wanted as I really could eat plates of the stuff 😆

I tried slimming world a couple of years ago, I lost 1/2 a stone which at the time I only needed to lose to be healthy. Unfortunately I couldn't keep up with cooking from scratch (and some of the recipes didn't taste that good after all that) but when I went on to My knd of 'normal' I figured I put more weigh on and I couldn't get it off. Them days though I didn't eat takeaways! In fact nothing up to now as worked for me, but then again I don't stick to anything long enough x

I did do. Slimming world a couple of years ago and l lost about 5 stone. Like anything it works if you want it hard enough to do it. I did like slimming world and it worked for me last time. Had something personhappen to me that made me look at life differently for a while and didn't really think about my weight to much. The thing that put me off rejoing was l didn't want to pay the weekly subs hence why l am doing it this time With support on here. Calorie counting and exercise again. I have set myself new goals and l am aiming for the sky. I know with the support we give each other in here and family and friends we can do this. So let's all do this together. What works for 1 does not always work for everyone. Good luck all.

I've heard a lot of ups and downs with it. I know some who managed to come off SW and WW and keep the weight off. But then others keep going back to them because they put the weight on. I don't like the franchises too much either.

Each to their own. I think anything will work if you stick to it, for me it doesnt matter what plan you are on its about changing your attitude to food for the long run.
