Things are going ok in the weight department. I haven't gained or lost anything so I guess that's good. I am happy to say I started a new job Monday. It was a difficult decision to leave my business but I have left it in the capable hands of my sister and am moving on. I have an entry level contract job in a large corporation in my area but there is room to grow and go on as a permanent employee if I want to. This new job has forced me to cut out my snacking because where I work we can not have food or drink in the particular room that I am in. Because I am busy I don't even notice that I am hungry so as long as I can control my eating while I am making dinner, this might be to my benefit. My stress level has gone way down so I think that helps a lot too. This has been a huge change for me. Going from a small business to a huge corporation is like night and day. So far it has been good. I feel I have already learned so much and am happy to say that even at my age, my brain still functions and I can learn new things. I have also added back my pilates class so I'm a little sore today. They will be switching the class back to the weekend soon so I will be able to get there more often. Weekday nights are tough especially in the winter when it's dark at 4:30 and cold enough that I don't want to go outside. So that's exercise 3 days a week now so I hope that will keep me from gaining over the next holidays coming up. Hope everyone has a great day.

I'm so glad the job change is going so well! Anything we can do to reduce stress is a great thing, especially this time of year! And as an exercise enthusiast, I'm always glad to hear others get as much benefit from it as I do. Thanks too for your comments on my journal. I'm also trying to get a better grip on when I'm truly hungry. I think the tea idea is a good one. I'll drink something when I'm cooking or chew gum to hold me over until its time to eat. xoxox
