Ruhu's Journal, 18 November 2013

I've got a new attitude, loyal FS friends & supporters! Recognizing that I eat for emotional reasons, I'm seeking professional help starting today :) in hopes that I get begin to re-wire my brain away from using food for reasons other than nourishment. While in this process, I'm going to take some of my journaling private, though of course, I'll still be here for each of wonderful, amazing, couldn't live without you, you! I'm just not going to go though my daily "whats on my calendar" routine. I will though be continuing my journaling from the EWYL mindful eating for binge eaters retreat. In fact, we start Chapter 1 today, so as soon as I can, I'll be positing a recap. Also, please know that I'm still praying for serenity daily (would love to have you join me!); praying, breathing, journaling, expressing & working through each new day, meal, moment, bite and emotion; and am and will always be grateful beyond words for each of you & all the love and support you've given so freely! xoxoxo Ruth

Good luck with your new/updated path. I hope you don't keep all your journal to yourself, as I will miss hearing about your life :) And will enjoy hearing about Chapter One and what you guys get out of reviewing it. I totally hear you on emotional eating, most of us with weight issues have emotional issues unfortunately. I truly hope you find the answers you seek.

Good luck. I think most people with eating issues have emotional reasons, myself included. I'm glad you will continue with the EWYL mindful eating updates. I hope that Chapter 1 starting up will help you have a great week.

I believe the majority of us are emotional eaters and fully understand what you are attempting to do and your need for some privacy. Wishing nothing but the best for you!

I don't know how I missed this journal ~ but better late than never?? I know what you mean about differences in journaling - when I journal by hand while enjoying the back yard, I notice I don't seem to share as much here - I think it's 'once it's out, it's out?' I dunno. Anyhoo... yep, come back and visit when you want and know I'm here and thinking about you even when you (aren't).
