The weight is rather persistent, but so has my inability to refrain from carbs these last few weeks. Last night I had 2 pints of sweet cider and a poutine. It was a carb fest. From today on, I am re-entering induction, and will do so completely alcohol free. I can tell that my cheeks have puffed up, and my clothes are fitting tighter. I cannot let myself go just because I,ve been through a few stressful weeks at work. It is not an excuse.
Anyway, to help myself along, I'll going to monitor my carb count very carefully. It should help keep me motivated knowing that I have public accountability to contend with.
Ok, off to lunch to grab a chicken salad.
