ORshelly's Journal, 15 December 2008

I was really bad yesterday. The cold got to me and I really didn't care what I ate. I just wanted hot food. I did not eat my meals like I was supposed to and I did not have any vegtables or fruit.Really bad for me, I don't want to landslide out of control. Today I am back on the diet completely. I am ok that I went off track for one day. I will be right back on today. I am moving wood today and getting a bit of exercise in this super cold weather. I hope that mi mejor amiga Gayle did better than me. She is a trooper. I know she is at work with the snow on the ground! I am not going anywhere.... course I live on a really large hill.... excuses!

Dont feel bad - I did the same thing, except I followed the diet the first half of Saturday - then had some wine and cheese, then started the diet again Sunday morning but got off it a bit again Sunday night. Back on it today all the way = I think if like Dr Ian says, we do it 85 % of the time, we'll be ok. I still lost 3 pounds last week and had much the same kind of weekend the week before. Hang in there! You're doing great and we can all fall off the wagon a time or two!

Sunday was a bad day for me too. Today is a new day and I am back to take control of myself again. ;)

I did good, but didn't lose a pound. Oh well, I am still trying. Like I said in my journal entry, if I could get motivated to go to the gym, I could do so much better. But, you know how hectic my life is. Excuses,)

Hey guys, I think this plan is about changing your relationship with food. We make ourselves feel so guilty when it comes to food! Life can't be so restricted all the time so there are going to be times when you don't eat perfectly and "fall off the wagon". It's ok if like Cwynn said, you eat healty 85% of the time. I have been doing fatsmash for about a week and half and have gone to some xmas parties. I have allowed myself a couple of glasses of wine even though I know it's not "allowed" under Phase I or II. I ate before I went to the parties too so I was less tempted. I tried to pick fruit and/or veggie appetizers, anything with meat for protein. You still have to live and have fun, just gotta find a way to find a good balance that works for you. Keep up the good work everyone and happy holidays!

Thank you all for the support! It is so great that we are not doing this by ourselves. Happy Holidays to everyone and we will get through this together!
