Hit another milestone today...down 75 pounds. I am one week short of six months on this journey. My goal has been to reach 180 pounds by the end of tax season (April 15th). I am on track to that so far. Although my weight loss has slowed for the last few weeks, I'm confident that if I stick with the plan, the pounds will start coming off at a higher pace again. We shall see. Of course, fat loss is fat loss. As long as my weight and waist size are dropping, I am a happy camper. I started out with 50" trousers that were too tight. I put on a pair of 38" jeans the other day. I got them on, buttoned & zipped. They were just a tad snug to actually wear. So at this point I've lost just about 75% of my waist goal while losing 59% of my weight. That means that I'm getting into better shape which is really the goal of this whole process.

That's a truly significant milestone. 12" off the waist is a huge (no pun intended) improvement. Seventy-five pounds is a big loss. Good on yer, as the Australians say!
