HOLIDAY SURVIVAL CHALLENGE - Week 2 continued...

I realized yesterday that I've finally let go of the 250's. For a long time, it seemed like they kept creeping into my life again and again. But now, when I gain a little, I'm still not going back into them. Its a good feeling. Now, to get below that 240 mark. That's my next goal!

My sister and I are baking cookies today. That is a challenge in itself!! I don't know why I decided I needed to do this. It just doesn't seem like Christmas without all kinds of cookies!!! I am making a couple low-cal (but not low-carb) treats. I guess if I have to try something - those should be the ones I go for!!

Have a great day everyone!

I too am a copious holiday baker. The trick is to immediately give them away to someone else. Preferably someone who will take them far, far away and not tempt you with them. :)

You should see all the low carb delicious cookies I found in the Sugar Free Sheila desserts cookbook! I think you should make one legal treat, give away the rest! Good luck and have fun! I have some co-workers who are dieting and they are making soaps this year instead of cookies. :)

Hope you had fun baking those cookies! It seems like it's not Christmas if we don't have all the traditional foods. I feel the same way. Sara has a good idea for finding low carb cookies in the SF Sheila cookbook. Definitely make something that is legal so you don't feel left out! :)
