For the first time since starting back on track, I went to bed hungry. I will study my diet entries for yesterday to see what I might do differently. At least I went to sleep and did get up to eat more.

Seems you're starving yourself. You've got to eat. Where did you get your rdi? It seems low. Increase proteins, cut back on the processed carbs... pop tarts, etc. Increase veggies and let them be your carbs and the carb total will come down.
But whatever you do, don't go to bed hungry because you'll be up at 3 munching on the chips and cookies.
Good Luck.

Of course you would be hungery concidering you ate half the calories vs the previous two days. Planning a low fat, cal, carb sugar snack for late evening can be a dieters best friend and I am not talking about chips or pretzels! Fruit or veggie snacks would be great.
