I'm afraid that I'm having less calories that might lessen my metabolism..and I don't want that😐.. I'm losing weight though

I usually range anywhere between 1200 to 1500 calories per day. With a deficit of about 500 to 800 calories. 💪🏽😊

I shoot for about 1300 since I’m not very active yet. Once some of the weight comes off and the weather cools(Texas) I’ll start walking more.

Look at what the app recommends for you to meet your goals. There are so many things that play into how many calories you consume to lose weight. For example a 140lb inactive person and a 220lb very active person require very different calorie intakes. Be honest about your activity level. I think a lot of people get hung up by entering what they want their level to be vs reality. There is no “one size fits all option”. If you are struggling with what the app recommends take a good look at your a macros and make sure you consume your calories in a way that maximize for metabolic burn given your activity level.

I shoot for 1500 - has always been a number that works - activity level is moderate

I shoot for 1700 but I’m very tall I’ve lost 40 lbs doing that
