yeah... i wanted to lose weight the right way. i felt it in my body that i was thinner. my stomach looks caved in... and the hell isn't even over. i guess a loss is a loss, right?

If I may put in my 2 cents worth (you can just ignore me if I come across as not sympathetic enough)- I find, that it is at times such as these (high stress) that it is most important to "stay the course" and keep the eating and exercise routines up. Those really MUST become part of your normal day to day MUST DO habits if you expect them to become part of your lifestyle. Those being part of your "normalcy" are what will help you to deal with the stress. There will always be things that come up in life to bring us stress, but we must put ourselves and our health first if we expect to be able to handle anything else outside of that. control what you can (eating/exercise) then go from there.
This summer I found myself in the middle of my weight loss journey and also at the most stressful moment in my life (my mother had just been hit by a car while riding her bike home from work and was in the ICU clinging to life). I made a promise to myself at that time, that no matter what happened to her, I was NOT going to let it be an excuse to derail me from all of the hard work I had already done. I could suffer through much stress but still maintain the sense of focus needed to care for myself so that I could see my family and myself through the situation. Whatever the outcome.
So, those are just my thoughts.
