Well, made it to the gym last night. I was so proud of myself! I wasn't in the mood to go but decided to take the 'action' of going and follow my feet there no matter what my brain wanted to do. Once I got there, I rode the exercise bike. About 15 minutes into it, I was ready to leave. But, finished out my time on the bike. Then, I decided that instead of going through the weight lifting circuit, I'd go to the bathroom and then go home. While in the restroom, I reminded myself that my arms and belly wouldn't get any smaller if I didn't work the muscles and that I'd do myself more favors by going through the circuit as opposed to going home. SO! I finished in the restroom (which is right next to the children's daycare and could've easily picked up my daughter and left for home), and headed for the women's workout room. Yep! I actually complete my entire workout for the day! I felt so proud of myself for listening to my positive self talk and not giving in to my negative self talk. I had reason to pat myself on the back!
Today I plan to go after work again! It's kind of a new approach to view weight loss not by 'dieting and exercising' but by saying 'I have a gym membership, use it!' and where food is concerned, I try to buy healthy and just prepare meals from the healthy food that I have instead of trying to follow a program. Now if I can just get that water in me!

Good for you! I often go to the gym with that half-hearted attitude. It's amazing how we can talk ourself right out of a good workout. I'm the best at that! The other night we pulled up to the gym and my hubby realized he had forgotten his 24 hour key. We probably could have gotten someone to open the door but we opted to go to DQ instead and have an ice cream. Talk about bad behavior! You did really good to work through all that negative thinking and do something VERY positive for yourself. Keep it up!
