Hi Yasmin, looks like you're doing well holding steady. I've been losing gradually over the summer and staying home, CV-19 is raging in Houston, so I'm staying safe. You be safe too!🌈

Hang in there! I feel the same. It can be so frustrating especially when I'm feeling extra hungry and my sacrifice hasn't paid off yet. I don't know if you feel as i do. I'm hungry most of the time. I'm trying to eat more protein and healthier carbs but also I plan small 200 calorie or less snacks every few hours at night when I feel most hungry. Sometimes it feels like I can't wait but so far I hold out. Right now I'm only dropping a few 10ths of a pound every few days. But I've also gone 2 weeks before without any loss then all of a sudden I lose a few pounds. Keep your goal in mind. I keep telling myself it will get easier and that I have to hang on like a bulldog! LOL! It will happen if you don't give up. Keep coming to the posts and sharing your frustrations and victories. Some days it just makes me feel better to vent and hear from others that i'm not the only one!

@bearnoggin Heya, Man oh man iv been stuck at this weight for what seems to be an eternity, my friend had suggested increasing my calorie intake, she said sometimes we stall cos we aren't eating enough calories. So I'm trying that. I had honestly stopped logging my meals maybe that's not wise. Iv also started working out so maybe it could be muscle gain.. I honestly don't know. But I'm here and I won't stop until I get to me goal. I appriciate friends like you for taking time to write me. It always does give me a Lil boost in my journey. So thank you friend 😊. Let's keep at it. At least your losing even if it's small victories indeed and at least I'm not gaining anymore right?! 🙌

Yes! Thinking positive thoughts!!! Another thought...have you had your thyroid tested? I have low thyroid and I have had a harder time losing since.

I did. They gave me some supplements. They said my gut flora was imbalanced but my thyroid was fine. They gave me some probiotics Thanks for that.

How you doing yasmin08? I watched a video yesterday that made me think of you. It said it's good to trick your metabolism with low carb/high healthy fat days a few days a week then high carb/low fat a few days. They also they said that spending hours daily on cardio can increase cortisol levels making you gain weight (which i had never thought about but it kinda makes sense since it is a stress on your body even though its a good stress). they recommended high intensity exercises 10-15 min 3x weekly. It looked like some floor exercises that increase heart rate but I'm guessing any exercise that gets your heart pumping at a higher rate for a shorter amount of time might do the trick (like walking up hill). But the general idea is to mix up the exercises as well so your body doesn't get used to it. It turned out to be an ad and I don't want to pay for the program but it made me think of you. Maybe your friend is on to something. Maybe you need to trick your body somehow to trigger a change. Next time i hit a plateau I'm going to try it. And of course anyone starting a new program should make sure their doctor agrees.

Hey @bearnogging. So I'm scared to step on the scale just yet but I think the higher calorie intake has helped. (Higher good calories I must add) Iv been doing these phone app women exercises too. It's a high intensity training give or take 20 minutes never knew they could actually get you sweaty and feel the burn 😊. Thank you for all your help. Hopefully in a few days on weigh day I see the lose. I can certainly feel the loss

That's great! Today I tried to do a treadmill weight loss program at a higher incline and pace but I'm not quite there. Guess I will work up to it slowly. I also ate higher protein and fats today. I been dropping 1/10th a pound each day the past 3 days and was super hungry yesterday. So thought I'd try higher fats today. Hope I can drop more than that but like you said before at least it's not a gain. Hang in there and keep up the good work!!!

I'm bummed today I tried eating more healthy carbs, less protein and fat yesterday and I gained 4/10 ths of a pound! I was starving all day and I stayed in my calorie limit and did some intensity exercises!! Maybe that's just how it goes. So today I'm going to eat more protein/fat and less carbs. I'm just going to keep experimenting until I find what works. Don't think I will do the high carb day again though. I think I will stick to more balanced meals and just make sure I eat enough protein cuz that's something I have a hard time doing. Bottom line is I'm not giving up this time!!! :) have a great day!!

So I know the keto works wonders for me. It's basically low to no carbs and no sugar. For fruit only berries, no legumes, so mostly protein and greens. Basically NOTHING processed. It works! Even with no exercise the weight falls off. The scale sometimes stales but you can Definetly feel it and see it. Maybe try that. Do enough research first though before you start. Cause at the beginning I would get mad headaches and mood swings but then you get used to it, you hydrate better and you snack right so your body adjusts. When you get into it it's so effortless. I swear I Love living keto. Try it and if you need any help I'm right here my friend 😊
