Day two of resting my torn meniscus knee. Only half crazy. Have entered three cookie (healthy) recipes in my cookbook, but haven't baked any yet. My partner brought home gourmet cookies yesterday to "help me heal". Well, they made me feel good for a little while, and I didn't totally pig out. I need to have a healthier option available, and these should freeze well. I just need egg substitute to bake with, and I can't go shopping until my Avonex is delivered.

My knee doesn't feel too awful, so I'm looking forward to becoming a bit more active, if only driving to the store & shopping, or turning on some latin music & dancing with my upper body, or cleaning off the exercise bike & gently peddling.

Being addicted to exercise is both a blessing and a curse. I'm happier, healthier, and will heal faster, even if my ACL is totally gone. It just hurts to be side-lined, unable to do Zumba or BodyPump or CXWORX. Sitting around almost itches, hahaha.

Soon I'll have options, like Silver Sneakers classes and Aqua classes. Those two got me started on this path to the thinner healthier me. No shame in taking a step back; a blessing to have the choices. I have hand weights in the garage, behind the exercise bike. More options. :o)

I need to get up and move; been at this computer for hours.
