Day 14 -

I am very eccstatic about my 6 lb weight loss over the last two weeks and i"ve learned a whole lot about myself. I learned that when I plan ahead my chances for success are increased. Yeah yeah, i've heard this all my life "fail plan you plan to fail" I never really took that to heart until just recently. It IS true! When I wake up too late to have breakfast at home i deprive myself of the much needed energy to get my day going. When I fail to make lunch ahead of time, I open myself up to making poor decisions during lunch time. If I don't plan to make excercise a part of my day, the chances that i'll do it at the endo f the day is almost zero. The things I NEED to stick to is eating right and exercise and if those are the things I fail to plan, then there's no way i will reach my ultimate goal of losing 80 lbs. Another part of that equation is motivation. How can I stay motivated to want to plan ahead and do all of the things I need to do to lose weight? So these are the things I'm focusing on the next couple of weeks. My goal in this next term is to get as close to 100% on planning in two categories: Meals and Exercise. I'll make a chart and each time I am successful with planing a meal I will give myself a point. For my exercise I'll start making "appointments" for a slot of time in my day. Each time I don't "make it" to an appointment I'l get a negative point. Sounds interesting and i am curious how that's all going to work out :). I'll work the water in there some how as well.

Also I think i'm going to extend my South Beach phase I through the end of this week. I want to make sure I have an advantage once Thanksgiving and Christmas roll around.
