Tamala Bogard's Journal, 12 September 2013

Guess I shoulda chosen an easier challenge to keep track of. Want to be fair and honest, so I can't even answer most of the questions.

Next time, I'll pick challenge where there is less info being kept track of.

Sorry, the easier, the better for me.

Not sure what's so complicated about it. If you did the goals all week you check successful; if you didn't you check failed. You can set your diet calendar to monitor your fiber and sodium to see if you get enough and too much respectively. Personally, I'd like to see water added to the things we should keep watch on.

It's ok......just keep track of what you can and also keep moving!!! I agree with keeping track of water!!

I also agree with tracking water. I guess what I was trying to say, was less info to keep track of the better.

I can understand the fiber, which we also had that during the last challenge, and the sodium is a good idea too. But, I think the water is almost essential. It is so important to hydrate well. I'd maybe do away with the evening snack part and add the water part but that just fits me. It might be the opposite for some of the other sassy ladies/gent. But keeping track of any of them helps pinpoint our weaknesses. For example, I've been slacking in the sweating department because #1 is TOM, #2 seemed to get out of habit after last 5K, and #3 upset my routine a bit and now I have a hard time fitting it in. So tracking those things shows me in what areas I need to pay more attention. Thus, again, the need for the water mini-challenge.....

Well said....this challege has helped me see my weak areas. I did not have my settings set to track sodium, after making the setting change and watching, helped me to realize my sodium intake is an issue for me. And somedays I haven't got enough fiber in. In my opinion, keeping track, here on FS, is an excellent tool for me in the life style I am living. You will find what "clicks" for you!!!
