Loosing weight sucks. I have done some reading and I believe that the Atkins diet is about the best diet for my metabolism. I cannot help but watch the calories and worry, but I am avoiding the desire to starve myself. I hate being fat.

On a lighter note, I have lost the weight that I gained last month. I gained over 7 pounds, and I felt like such a whale. I was deeply ashamed of myself for not watching what I ate. Now I have finally gotten back to square one... 158 pounds. So I guess its all gravy from now on! LOL

I am very proud of my little girl. She has done so well with her weight loss. She is loosing weight, and looks fabulous. She exercises and I know she is feeling very good right now. I really miss her.

I've found that cutting down carbs, rather than cutting them out completely (ie having fruit and veg and legumes still) helps me stay full, get vitamins and still lose weight. I also started jogging. It's really hard at first, but it's one of those exercises that gets a lot easier and a lot more enjoyable if you persevere with it. It had really helped me tone up and lose fat. Please don't go down the starvation route, you don't need to, and it leads to a disordered way of thinking about food that is very difficult to break (I can tell you from experience).
