Carmel8sons's Journal, 13 October 2010

Interview went ok, I was interviewed by 2 people, the Founder and a lady. (Cork Alzheimers Home Support) Its supposed to be family run so could have been daughter.
I would love to work there. The Administrator there was lovely as well, so chatty and just so nice. Work hours Either 9am to 1pm or 1pm to 5 pm and we can interchange. I know they liked me as a person but she kept on about I not having any experience, but he kept saying thats what the C.E scheme was about, Asked if I minded doing training programmes, she said the same too. Asked would I be willing to retrain in different things maybe even changing the plans of what I qualify in. They were really nice people, and really know what they are about. Very Caring. If I cant get the Job as a administrator I'd love even to work as a care person in their organisation. Pity they only were founded in 2005, the care they offer would have been perfect for my mum, She could have stayed home longer.

They did ask why I've not worked in this line before and I was honest that I felt my size would go against me. and my Confidence is now only building. Think they understood where I was coming from.

If all came to all I may even volunteer for 2 days to take care of clients. I am trained in that.

Still so sick, Had to make huge effort to go, but weather here is like summer, beautiful.

Weight seems ok and I cant really eat as my gums are blistered. From tomorrow I'm def on shakes as its only Think I an take as chewing hurts so much. Will see what Doc say's tomorrow.

Keith (#4) is giving me his Wii, and going to ask fora loan of a fittness programme and try it. All plans that I need to keep to.
