I feel like I have friends who are sabotaging my diet. Not deliberately exactly but they most definitely are. Like my roommate who knew I have been on WW for the last two weeks yet bakes brownies or suggests Burger King for dinner.

Also she wants to lose 30 pounds in a month but she isn't starting until next week. Short of diet pills I don't know how that is going to happen.

Just keep your eye on the prize. You're not doing this for anyone but yourself. Let her suffer with extra weight, because you won't give in, and you're dedicated. Let her see how much happier you become as you lose the LBS. Don't let the snide comments or secret saboteurs stand in your way...YOU CAN DO THIS! Good Luck, and Keep your head up!

Maybe they do not realize how serious you are about this and wanting to lose?? Take the time to sit down and tell your roommate that you are not interested in any sweets like brownies and not interested in eating at Burger King. Let them know what would be better for you instead, if they'd be up for it or suggest that you would prefer to eat separately if they aren't interested in a healthier option. I've found I've had to remind ppl and had to retrain my hubby to quit offering me a glass of wine nightly, out of a kind gesture, as I just didn't want to continue that way. I have had to repeat myself over and over, "no thanks", and a few different times of "I only would like to have a glass on Friday/Saturday night, please". However, it will help out immensely! :)
