Yay, up to 2 3/4 miles yesterday, jogging the whole time. I only have limited time, about 1/2 hour, so I have to pick up speed to fit more mileage in. I should be able to do more, but it has been a while, so I will be OK with that.
I know that running should be my stress reliever, but it seems that the whole time I am running, I am going over and over in my head the very things that cause me the stress. Can't get away from it. I think I will borrow my sons MP3 player to tune out the hubby arguments that are constantly buzzing in my mind. No weight loss today, though. Bummer.

Good for you, that's wonderful. I enjoy walking but would love to get back to jogging, too hard on the old knees though. I take my MP3 player on every walk I do, it's great and the quick beat to the music makes me more energetic and walk faster. You are doing great.

that's awesome! Having a mp3 player will help, but those things in your mind will likely persist. I have come to really appreciate these solo runs. It has helped me figure out a ton in my personal relationships, and also just about me. It's a lot cheaper than going to see a therapist! :) I find answers to questions that I didn't know I had!
