I just had to post about the yummy string bean dinner we had last night! lol I took the idea from Bullytrouble. Instead of bacon, I used shrimp! I started with some chopped onion, threw in a few slices of fresh mushroom, and some frozen shrimp (from Costco) and a heaping teaspoon of garlic, tad bit of butter, and dash of black pepper. Sautee'd and then threw in a bunch of frozen string beans. Once heated through, served up in a bowl and topped with a bit of Feta. My OH MY! It was so GOOD! Hubby went back for more as did I. I was so proud of myself for trying something out of the ordinary for dinner. It was simple and tasty. Think I'll try it with peas next time and use some turkey bacon.
Oh, and I made it to the gym last night. I went straight from work and am so glad I did. It's so much easier to go right from work. No chance to come up with excuses! lol

Ooooo... BRAVO on both accounts... eating great and working out!! :) Love the idea of using the shrimp, too! I'm sure the turkey bacon would be nummy, too. :) Yeah for more veggies!! :)

Will have to try it, today I could have done with that recipe, I had all the ingreidents here, Well maybe Tommorrow night but I was thinking of Mackeral if my weight loss was good, Who;e fish, add ginger, I of course add my chillies, Bake it in tin foil,just before serving, tiny bit oil,small bit black beans, heat frying pan really hot, place the fish in to crisp the skin, toss in very finely chopped spring for last few seconds, serve straight away, Delicous, Yeah Def going to have it tomorrow night,
