Slowly, slowly, creeping down the weight scale. On a better note, I ran a 5K this weekend and beat my only other 5K time by at least 4 minutes, possibly more (I don't know for sure, because I can't quite remember exactly what my last time was and this time includes the time it took me to borrow a stranger's bathroom halfway through the course because I had pushed too hard early on and thought this a better alternative to puking on their lawn...sorry, t.m.i. I think). Still, I ran it all (save for around 50 feet while fighting nausea) and that is an accomplishment for me right now. And the 5k (which my brother set up as a fundraiser for the local nonprofit organization that provides opportunities for children with disabilities to experience outdoor adventures, like hiking and snow skiing) had a good turnout and raised a lot of money, so we're all excited about that.
