Great weekend. We had pizza Friday night. Not what I'd had planned but he suggested it, and I've been hungry for it for awhile. Pizza is my favorite food. I looked it up and it was fine.....a little high in sodium but I was within my limits for the day. I count everything I eat . I can't believe the chicken pizza only has 8 grams of fat per piece! It was good, not great but good. Next time I'll have the veggie. I guess I missed the pepperoni. And I like more sauce. Every pizza should have pepperoni but it was too much salt. sigh.... We had our women's meeting at church Saturday morning and the only thing I ate was a small piece of a special casserole one of the ladies made. Then we had Praise Team practice and then my friend and I cleaned the church, which we do every Saturday. It gives me more exercise. After church today, they had a small party for one of the teens who just graduated....cake and coffee and I only had two bites of cake - just enough to taste it. It was enough for me. I went to the grocery store today to get a few more things....seedless grapes, a cantaloupe, low fat shredded cheese, skim milk. I also bought a sweet onion, a tomato and a cucumber. I like to cut them up in a vinegar and oil based dressing. And I had waldorf salad for supper tonight. It's one of my favorites....apple, grapes, celery, (I usually have a banana in it, too, but I forgot to get some today), and Kraft Fat Free Mayo. It's the only ff mayo I like. Anyhow, I ready for another week. I have to keep eating like this...keeping track, no more cakes and pastries, no more stuffing my face with chips and chocolate. I can have them in moderation. I won't say I can't have things. I just have to have them less often and in smaller quantities. I'm considering myself sort of like an alcoholic. I can't have these things because they will kill me. My body is one of those that can't eat all this "junk" and remain healthy. I've had them for 53 years so I can do with less of it now. I've had enough.
