I'm on Day 3 of the HCG diet...and am very hopeful. The fact is, eating 1800 calories per day should put my weight around 125--no so for me. Which tells me I have a metabolism problem. The HCG diet is supposed to help with that. However...its extreme. From Day 3 to day 23, I eat only 500 calories a day. Nothing really for breakfast except tea or coffee (with no milk), very little for lunch and dinner. But the HCG drops are supposed to stave off hunger and help boost my metabolism post-diet. I usually don't do these diets, but I believe I have a problem with metabolism, and need to do something about it.
Currently, I AM hungry. So I can't say the drops are working. But I'm going to see how this plays out. 2 more hours until lunch. Lunch is spinach, shrimp and an orange. Dinner will be chicken, spinach and strawberries. Yum. Tonight I will record measurements to track measurements as well as weight lost. I hope to be 20 lbs thinner in 3 weeks.
