Day 53 of Insanity. I still cannot seem to do the entire workout. I go all the way through, but can't do each exercise for all the time they do. Burned about 450 calories. Decided to go back to my new favorite clothing store - the thrift store! Bought a pair of jeans that fit now, a top, and another pair of "inspiration" jeans. I seriously doubt this pair will ever fit - maybe with lipo and another 10 lbs... but they were SO cute. A nice pair of Lucky jeans in a cut and wash i haven't owned before. I WISH they would fit...but... a size 2. I've NEVER been a 2. I pulled them up to about mid thigh. Don't even know why I bought them except when I first started buying jeans that I wanted to grow in to, they didn't really go up past about that point. But a two... I just don't see it happening. If so, I'm posting a picture! :D Still, it was nice getting out, moving around, looking at stuff. Made an awesome dinner - it looks ugly, but it's healthy and tasty, too. Saute celery, onion, garlic and ginger in a bit of olive oil, then add shredded cooked chicken (from a rotisserie chicken - easy and moist) , cooked wild rice, parsley, salt and pepper and fold in some baby spinach. Really tasty stuff - saw it on Dr. Oz and have made it twice now.

So bored these days. The workout is getting pretty boring, although it's still so tough. I can't keep shopping... need to find something constructive to do. I think that's adding to my lack of oomph these days.

I have the PERFECT idea! Come over and help me chase down children at football practice or maybe do some cleaning at my place?! Ah, gotta love the thrift store! NICE JOB on 2's...even if they're goal pants. If you can get them up to your thighs, that's saying something in itself. And hey, you could always try Zumba lol.

Gabs...Thanks, we probably ALL need a boost sometimes. These last 8 pounds or so (really thinking 122 should be wear I land)are just seeming to not want to come off. I'm still claiming the 130 dehydrated state, but know it's not accurate. It WILL be! :D

ctlss... I'd SO love to do any or all of those things together! Red wine and Absinthe, though... I'm ASSUMING you don't mean together! lol... Oh... I GET it...Absinthe for you, wine for me :) But I STILL wanna try it! And I think you're doing awesome with the exercise...YOU are a dedicated woman (me? think I simply have OCD!) If you haven't tried the next level, I think you might want to (unless there are moves you haven't mastered yet in the first). It's really not that much more difficult, but I have to say...there's a set of butt exercises in there on the floor that are killer. Just don't let the idea of levels intimidate you :)

OMG, Klannoye!!!! WHAT would I do WITHOUT you??!! I don't even wanna go there! I swear you know exactly what to say to make me laugh out loud, every DAY! ooohhh....you're kinda bad, too... in a way I TOTALLY appreciate :D Oh, and those size 2? I really can't see it happening...need some of your whoo-doo voo-doo to help me on THAT one! Thanks for the laugh this morning!

Youngbug... GREAT idea...except for the cleaning of the house. I think I'd LOVE to chase children around for a while...great exercise! And I SO miss little ones... try to stay in the moment with those precious children...it will pass SO fast your head will spin. House cleaning? Nah.... ZUMBA?? MAYBE!!! You might be on to something there. Wish I could find someone willing to give it a try with me. I thought of a couple who MIGHT...maybe...BUT I know how the evening or afternoon would end, too... lots and lots of wine! hmmm... I like working out at home by myself...maybe I should think about taking a class by myself. You must be loving it!

RWL, I may try the next level. I know that it is just the chicken in me holdiong me back, but never having done any kind (and I mean that literally) of exercise before, it is taking me a while. This level still leaves me sore and breathless, especially when I add the pilates. But you may well be right. I have the moves down pretty well, I am just not sure I can do the whole Ramp it Up workout. As for those size 2 pants, I could use them as calf warmer for 1 leg. Are you serious. I haven't been a size 2 since...egads woman, I cannot even remember...maybe when I was 10 and lived in Germany! NO it was probably before that! I will NEVER be a size 2. I will be happy with a size 12...and yes, absinthe for me, red wine for you, and of course whatever youngbug and klannoye want. The cool weather will be here soon and we could build a big bon fire, sit ooutside, look up at the stars, ponder the mysteries of the universe, and drink! Okay, I am waiting........

Im gonna speak up for Young bug....I think we both would like some sort of Fat Free Calorie Free Little Debbie treat....and we'll share YOUR wine and Absinthe too, of course, we're NOT rude....lol. (maybe it IS a good thing we're ALL in different states....eeeek) Drunks with Dirty houses we'd all be!!!! lmao.

ctlss... I think I just had an ache in my soul with that description. Is that not akin to heaven on earth?? I'd love to sit in front of a bonfire and ponder the mysteries of the universe. Oh, and drink, too. And yeah, Klannoye, you and Youngbug can bring the Little Debbie's... AS long as you also figure out a way to make wine, and Absinthe, and Amaretto, and ...WHAT THE HECK DO YOU DRINK??? (all the stuff I think I know about you and I don't have this piece of critical information???!!!) Oh, but I digress. You have to make the alcohol fat free, sugar free and calorie free, as well. And I could deal with that particular moniker! LOL --------------------Oh...and VERY little danger I'll ever squeeze into that size 2! Really, bought on a whim...

Ahhh, the Drunks With Dirty Houses group!! DWDH..that's us. Of course before I can let any of you visit, I'd have to clean!! lol And I will eat pork rinds, instead of the Little Debbies, if'n ya don't mind! And RWL it is akin to heaven on earth. I love living in the country. One year I woke up my yongest son at 2 am, we put the top on the convertible down, got pillows and blankets, put the seats back, and watched one of the annual meteor showers. It was awesome and a memeory taht we will have forever. That is one of the many great things about living out in the boonies (although it is growing up fast), the ambient light is so negligable that the stars are super bright....Oh, and RWL, Absinthe calorie, fat, and carb free....it isn't listed anywhere on any carb or calorie list (that I can find), so it doesn't count! WooHoo!! Of course it helps that you can only drink an ounce or so. Very strong! Tastes like black licorice, feels like fire! lol

MMMM.......never tried Absinthe but thinking of Amaretto or wine with a fire. I agree, heaven. I think at some point on this journey there should be an actual meeting in the middle somewhere. :)

I am in the middle...of the country! lol Missouri!

Me too...IN but you've got me beat...I don't have a fireplace since I moved.

Okay....No lovely Country stories to share....City Girl here....BUT Once my neighbor was chased by the police...and all the police lights flashing around the neighborhood.....breath taking ( lmao)..... Yea yea NO DWDH meeting in Milwaukee this year.....lol hump!!!

My vote is Missouri...seems like a fair halfway point to me! And the ambiance.... Oh, man... You ladies are teasing me! I don't think anything sounds as good to me as that right now... meeting up with new friends, face to face... sitting out there watching the stars...enjoying the country... ctlss...how far out from a hotel are you? LOL... And the absinthe... I know it tastes like licorice, which is why I probably wouldn't like it...but I still want to try it. Do you do the whole ritual type thing? The dripping the ice cold water over a sugar cube slowly into the glass.... I think that's the part that appeals to me :D Silly, I know. Anyway.... ONE day I WILL be a country girl myself... in our log home, sitting on our patio in front of the fire, enjoying the good life... the stars... the VIEWS. *sigh*

Hi RWL, how the heck are you? Still exercising like crazy? I just got back on FS, but have to write at work as our computer lost Internet, some weird problem the hubby will fix. But...can't write or go on FS from home. :-( I gained 2# on vacation, but have no fear, I will get it off!!! I really want that 130 and then, I hope, 125 by the holidays. I really, really want to be low on the holidays to give me a bit of breathing (well not breathing) room. You know how it is, lots of goodies around. Got to get the arse in gear now!!! OK, since I'm at work, I need to actually do some. Talk to you later. Have a great week!!

Thanks, NN... I'm doing well...trouble with a kid... who is NOT actually a teen any longer, but seems to act about 15. Yikes. Other than that, can't complain a whole lot...just wanting to see that scale move some more! Two pounds on vacation is nothing...I swear I can do that in one day (and have...many times!) You'll be there in no time, I'm sure. I know what you mean about wanting a little wiggle room for the holidays. I do look forward to fudge at Christmas, and those cookies...oh my. I'm usually okay around Thanksgiving, but then fall apart about mid-Dec. So, wiggle room would be LOVELY! I'd like to be about 122 by then... haven't posted my new goal...not until I reach the current one. Good luck with the internet problems...I feel so disconnected when something happens to it or to my laptop!
