I usually don't do two journals in one day, but I just had to share. In August I'm doing the COLOR RUN! I think that's actually the best motivation I can give myself. It's open to all levels, including walkers, but I want to try to run the whole thing without stopping. I have a lot of work to do between now and then but I can't wait!

I've heard the color run is a great time! If this is your first 5K, just remember to go at your own pace. I know you already know this...but chant this in your head before the race...the excitement tends to up your pace...and even though you realize it...you feel invincible...until the halfway mark anyhow. You can definitely run the whole thing, just make sure you have a plan and a watch.

You can totally do it! I've always wanted to run something like the color run, but I always have a schedule conflict or something lol. I'm proud of you! Keep it up and have fun!
