I think this is my first journal entry. I'm not sure what to write here. So if I end up rambling, just skip to the end. I'm sure I'll summarize.
I started trying to lose weight several years ago when my friend decided he was too big (600+ lbs) and wanted gastric bypass surgery. Since that's probably the most dangerous thing that anyone his size could do, I told him I'd diet and exercise with him if he promised not to get the surgery.
So, after several rocky starts, a strange medical trial, and several gym memberships later, here I am. Still not too far from my starting weight.
Recent changes in my life include a new gym membership !WITH A POOL!!! and a stricter diet provided by a nutritionist.
Update about my 600+ lbs friend? He's lost 150+ lbs. YAY!
