My coworker just told me he is down to 179 pounds, meaning he has lost 20lbs. Is it just me, or is it so much easier for guys to lose weight? WHATEVER IM OVER MY EXCUSES. I WILL GET MY WEIGHT DOWN. XX

oh it's MUCH easier for men to lose weight than it is for us women!! They don't have to deal with the hormonal changes we have, plus they're just built differently & carry weight in easier-to-lose places. That doesn't mean we can't do it though! Keep trying!! :)

Welll....not for all men. My husband is an insulin dependent diabetic, and for him it's really difficult. He's had a really hard time with it. For most men, though, yes, it's pretty easy. Build up your muscle mass, you burn something like twice as many calories to sustain muscle as you do to sustain fat.
