Does that mean that you are no longer in ketosis? Or are you doing something called dirty keto?

It definitely knocked me out of ketosis. I'm not aware of dirty ketosis. Reason is that sugar/carbs spike insulin and insulin prevents fat burning and promotes fat storage. Hence the weight gain because I didn't need the excess carbs that came in. So with keto the idea is to keep insulin low so that you are always burning fat and the body is using stored fat for energy... the key is keeping insulin low. I know the theory but couldn't resist the pizza.

Dirty keto is the weekday of keto diet and the weekend of counting micronutrients... I don't understand it myself. Normal keto seems to be better on the body. Will all the issues for getting into ketosis, dirty keto seems dangerous. Will you do IF to kick your body into ketosis or will you be starting again?

After the junk eating I then immediately did a 36hour fast to reset which I broke this morning. So I believe the fast got me into ketosis and I can carry on with keto eating from now on and one meal a day challenge from 1PM this afternoon until next week Monday to see what the results are.
