redwinelover's Journal, 12 August 2010

Long day, just getting to this. Today was Day 15 of Insanity. It hurt :) It was the plyometrics cardio circuit, about 42 min. The good thing? It goes by really quickly. I didn't do the Slim in 6 today - had to take my daughter to her eye appointment and I'd forgotten all about it. So I had time to do the Insanity workout only.
Hmmm....trying to think of something positive here... I'm liking my arms, did I already use that one? Oh, my clavicles, which I most likely already mentioned are lookin' hot! I was excited when I could see the shadow of them all the way up to the shoulder - now I can see the shape of them and the little "knob" at the top. It makes me smile.
Weight stayed the same. Even though I just dropped a little bit, I was still thinking I would today...so much for that theory that having my tummy rumble when I go to bed equals weight loss the next day! :)

You are amazing in your dedication, it's very impressive. I need to get myself some DVDs as I'm convinced by watching you and Cathy that there is a lot in them that I cannot see. Have a great evening buddy!

D I am having that love of clavicles as well! I look at mine while I work out. It's probably the one thing that I can see that's physically looking different, lol! God I need your motivation for working out- do you ever take a rest day?? I wish I could rearrange my schedule to get up crazy early (for me) and workout in the morning, but I'm WAY too much of a night owl, lol :D

Hahaha...can you say "obsessed"? That's almost how it feels, but if it is, it's the healthiest obsession I've had and I hope it never goes away! Thanks, Info! And check out clips for different ones that might appeal to you. Either on YouTube.com or try Amazon. A lot of their DVDs have video clips. They have a way of keeping you on track and to keep you moving when you might be taking a rest. I know they don't appeal to everyone, though. :)================================SQ- aren't clavicles BEAUTIFUL??? I mean, we've gotta love something, right? :) Hmmm...I think I'm working out every day or nearly every day. I'd take a day off if I was doing something...ANYTHING that was physical. Like camping or hiking, or even a day full of doing things outside. But it's so hot here that we'd have to drive pretty far to escape this heat. I just can't burn many calories unless I'm working out or moving a lot. As it is, today I'll be lucky to reach 2300 calories. Damn metabolism. I read someone's post who must have a bodybugg - she burns 1.9 calories per minute ASLEEP. I average about .9. Life just isn't always fair! :) I'm lucky that I have nothing but time, I guess!

OK, I'm going to try it out: "Man! That babe has great looking clavicles doesn't she?" lol! It's an amazing obsession redwinelover, and contagious too. ;-) Where are my DVDs!? hehe.

LMAO!!! Oh, Info...you crack me up sometimes! A "girl's" gotta have something she's proud of! :) I have quite a collection of dvds going now, so I guess I AM obsessive! I made a list for SturgeonQueen (my cyber-daughter - love her to pieces) with a word or two on each one. Let me know if you want me to forward to your inbox :) Of course, it's only MY take on them and Lord knows, we're ALL different. Vive la différence!

It's always great to read your posts! It gets me so motivated to do my DVD workouts. I missed yesterday because of going with my husband for his testing but I plan on exercising today. I always have to boost my motivation to get started and reading your posts definitely does it. Every day it seems like you see more results from your workouts - you are always so positive.

I agree with Multiplicity in that you are always very positive, that must be why I like you. ;-) Yes, please send me the DVD comments, I would very much appreciate your opinion!
