mars2kids's Journal, 18 March 2013

After a bad week last week I don't want to weigh in. I'm scared. At least I got my workouts in Saturday and Sunday, but no workout today because of my son's last football game tonight. I was going to try to do a workout this morning, but my headache has still been raging and I must have tweaked my elbow during yesterday's workout because whenever I put my hand on something to push myself up it kills, so the pushups and planks probably wouldn't help. Hopefully, by tomorrow my elbow will be better and I'll get back to my workout.
I'm hoping with spring just around the corner, that the weather will warm up a little and I'll start taking the dogs for a walk after dinner. That will be good for me, so I can burn some extra calories and not spend that time eating. I have a horrible nighttime snacking habit that I can't get under control, so I'm hoping some puppy time will help curb the snacking.
That's all for now. Happy Monday!!

I had a bad (eating) weekend and TOM, I weighed, but I will NOT record it!!! Did a little healthy grocery shopping during lunch so I have fruit available as a snack instead of chips (sodium). Going to really concentrate the rest of this week on making better food choices. Hope your elbow is better soon!

Thanks! I bought myself some fruit for during the week, so I should be good during the day, it's the night when I'm home that's the killer for me. We can do this!

Yes we can! What kind of puppy do you have? We have an 18 month old Bloodhound, who is about 100 pounds, lol. I haven't braved walking him because I think he will drag me along! and we have a lot of loose dogs in our neighborhood.

We have a yorkie/bichon mix (4 yrs) and a corgi/lab/not sure what else mix (13 months). So, the yorkie mix is about 12 lbs, and the lab mix is about 35 lbs., not too big, but the lab mix can pull me along, so I'm sure a 100 lb. dog would knock me down. The lab mix does a lot better with other dogs than the smaller dog, but most of the dogs in the neighborhood are fenced, so that's good.
