Had a great bday and St Pat's. Drank less on St Pat's than I have in the past too--only one beer! Overall, I did well eating--not too many "splurges" and kept it fairly high protein, with the exception of wine and prosecco. However, I could have done even better: I should have ordered a sam lite instead of a Smittys. Also, I had a latte after the 5K...I should have ordered an earl grey and added milk, or just a plain latte. I wasted calories on sugar. :( Even still...dinner at a tapas restaurant was great--I ate beef, shrimp, pork with bleu cheese, mushrooms, and had a couple of bites of almond bday cake. Plus four glasses of wine for almost as many hours. I'm not recording my food for that day...it was a splurge day, but even with a splurge day, I remained fairly steady with my choices. Also, I spent the afternoon doing yoga, acupuncture and reflexology. What a great "me" day. Back on track tomorrow: making chicken cauliflower casserole tonight and planning meals for a great Cape 2-day mini break with Jen. Going to try to be as healthy as possible, and continue the workouts... On a side note: CAN'T WAIT FOR SPRING!!!!
